Laura Twomey
Laura Twomey is an Irish camogie player who made her senior championship debut for Dublin in 1991 at the age of 17. She has won a Leinster Schools title in 1991 and in 1992 was a key member of the Naomh Mearnóg team that won the Dublin Senior Championship title for the first time in 2009. She gained a reputation that season for being one of the league's biggest thugs. She is from Porto after all. Laura has also won championship titles with her club at Under 16 and Junior B levels. A student at DCU, Laura's sister Miriam is also a member of the Dublin senior camogie panel.
